Subnautica was developed and published by Unknown Worlds Entertainment, an open-world survival action-adventure computer game. After their spaceship, the Aurora, crashes on the planet’s surface, players are free to explore the waters on an alien world known as planet 4546B. To live, the player must gather resources and face animals. It also serves as the game’s main point of reference, the only object visible from any location in the world. The Aurora ship may be found on the far east side of the map and is best observed by heading to the water’s surface.

Throughout your time in Subnautica, you’ll be kept up to date on the status of the Aurora. The Aurora is a ship that crashed landed for a variety of reasons, but now that it has, you are welcome to examine it. Once you’ve located it, you’ll need to put on a Radiation Suit. Simply said, if you don’t have one, you won’t be able to explore the ship. It is also advised that you bring the following items:

  • Repair Tool – This will assist you in repairing the Drive Room and any broken doors on the Aurora in Subnautica.
  • Laser Cutter – Using the laser cutter, you will be able to enter several chambers, including the Prawn Suit Bay and the Black Box Terminal.
  • Survival Knife – Useful for dispatching any remaining bleeders.
  • Repulsion Cannon – Either of these can be used to remove crates and obstructions, particularly those in the main hallway and Laboratory door.
  • A weapon -to deal with any Cave Crawlers. This could simply be the Propulsion/Repulsion cannon you use to clear obstructions on the Aurora.
  • Sea glide – You’ll need one of these for getting around the submerged sections of the Aurora in Subnautica.

You’ll be ready to board once you’ve completed your preparations. As you explore the ship, you will come across several locked doors. To unlock the door, you must have to use their codes otherwise you cannot open them. Here is a list of all Aurora Door Codes in Subnautica.

  • Cabin No. 1: 1869
  • Captain’s Quarters: 2679
  • Cargo Bay: 1454
  • Lab Access: 6483
  • Robotics Bay: 6666
  • Drive room

 1) Cabin No. 1: 1869

Cabin 1 is sealed with the code “1869,” which can be found in the “Sweet Offer” Abandoned PDA. This area has a Blue Cap, an Arcade Gorge Toy, and an Abandoned PDA labeled “Responsible Autonomous Relationships.”

The athlete will enter a locker room after cutting through the Sealed Door. Some of the lockers are open, with items such as batteries, first-aid kits, and water inside. There is a Data Download labeled “Sweet Offer” on an abandoned PDA. The player will receive the code “1869,” which is required for Cabin 1 in the Living Quarters. 2)Captain’s Quarters: 2679

It may be unlocked with the code (2679) which is given to you over the radio later in the game. An Aurora Miniature, an Aurora Poster, an Abandoned PDA labeled “Captain’s Log” on the bed, and a Data Terminal with a Data Download titled “Alterra HQ – Last Recorded Transmissions” that unlocks the Neptune Escape Rocket are all found within the room.

Cabins 4 through 7 are located to the right. An abandoned PDA labeled “Relationship Contract Legal Recording” and the Prawn Suit Poster – Sea may be found in Cabin 4. Cabin 7 is across the room, and the entryway is blocked by fire, which you must extinguish to pass. Another Abandoned PDA, “Alterra Alms Pamphlet,” can be found there. Cabin 6 has a Natural Selection 2 Poster.

3)Cargo Bay: 1454

This door can be opened by using code (1454). Rubble has blocked the entrance to Cargo Bay 3 on the left side of the tunnel. Before this, at the start of the ramp leading to the entrance, there was an Abandoned PDA labeled “Aurora Engineering Drone – Log” next to a single Propulsion Cannon Fragment. By descending from above or using the Propulsion Cannon or Repulsion Cannon, they can be pushed out of the way. Alternatively, the player can leap and race down the hill to the first massive cargo container, then back up to the top of the stack. It’s worth noting that doing so starts a fire that can’t be put out; it can only be avoided.

After that, there’s a locked door with a keypad that may be used. The door may be opened by entering the code from the previously stated Data Download into the keypad. You may also unlock the door without using the opposite side’s code. The Cargo Bay is a large area packed with cargo containers, Supply Crates, forklifts, and other equipment. On rare occasions, up to three Cyclops Engine Fragments might emerge within some of the massive cargo containers.

4)Lab Access: 6483

The access to the main laboratory will be opened by using the code (6483). Coming through the Prawn Suit Bay: Go underwater at the far-left corner from the entrance to the Bay to find a tunnel leading to the lab. A room before the actual laboratory contains a Data Terminal with a Data Download titled “Aurora Black Box Data“. There also is a Supply Crate containing a Battery in front of a locked door that requires the Laser Cutter. Behind it is the actual laboratory.

A nearby Abandoned PDA has a Data Download titled “Lab Access” containing the code, 6483, for the two nearby doors. These grant access to the storage room, where three Large Sample Flasks can be found, one Cylindrical Sample Flask, a Microscope, and a Sample Analyzer. The two Supply Crates contain Disinfected Water and there’s a Data Terminal that states it de-corrupted the player’s PDA and unlocks the Repulsion Cannon. On a Counter close to the terminal

5)Robotics Bay: 6666

The robotics bay was originally intended to be added, but it was ultimately removed. Although the code has been developed, the room does not appear in the game. Maybe later or soon developer will work to add this room in Aurora.

6)Drive Room

To unlock this room, you don’t have to use any code. There are four big generators inside the Drive Room. The Aurora will cease leaking radiation once all of the breaches are fixed; thus, your Radiation Suit will no longer be required. While not essential, this allows the player to use his or her “armor/helmet slots” for more sophisticated wearable equipment without having to avoid Aurora’s otherwise-radiated region. After three in-game days, repairing the breaches completely removes the radiation.

When entering the generator room, the PDA warns the player that radiation is at its maximum tolerable level.

The Cyclops Engine Efficiency Module can also be found in the Drive Room, protruding from the upgrade terminal in the center of the room. Bleeders can also be discovered in the water around the generators.


If you want to get into this game, you’ll need to utilize these codes. Once you’ve finished your preparations, you’ll be ready to board.
