Faulty Files in the Windows Registry.
Another cause of the error is that you may be having faulty files that can gather up over a certain amount of time in your Windows registry. For this, you will have to clear up all the corrupted files from the Windows registry. Download the ‘Error 277 Roblox Utility Tool’. Install the software after downloading. Run it and scan your computer for any problem. If any problems are found then click on Fix and fix the problem. Re-launch the game after restarting your computer. It should work by now.
Cache files are the files that contain specific data for the software. These include files with temporary as well as permanent changes. There are a lot of temporary files on your computer that need to be deleted.
For cleaning these files, open the Run program. It can be opened by pressing Windows Key and R, simultaneously. Type “%temp%” in the dialog box and click, enter. Select all the files and delete them.
Then again, open the Run program by pressing Windows Key and R, simultaneously. Type “%localappdata%\Roblox\logs” in the dialog box and click, enter. Select all the files and delete them.
Then again, type “%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\RbxLogs\” in the dialog box and click, enter. Select all the files and delete them. After that, delete all the files from Recycle Bin as well. Restart the PC and re-launch the Roblox.
Another fix that has been proven to be helpful is using, the ‘Compatibility Mode’. You just need to right-click on the icon of your Roblox launcher. Then, you need to click on the properties and you need to go to the tab of compatibility. Under that tab, select the current version of Windows that you are running the Roblox on. There is also a Compatibility Troubleshooter which will help you in finding any problems with that. Run a scan to find out any problems.
Roblox may have changed some requirements and that includes browser requirements as well. You may be having an outdated browser version. For this, you need to update your browser regularly so that you are not facing any issue of any such kind.
Your Internet Connection.
Your internet connection may be causing the error. You need to change the internet provider or have a new internet connection if this is the issue. Just check if there is any problem with your internet router. Connect with another internet connection and try launching the Roblox again. If the error does not exist, then your internet connection is the problem.
Also, try to reset your internet connection settings. For this, go to the search bar and type, Internet Options, and press enter. Click on, Advanced and select, Reset. This will reset all the settings and you will have all the default settings for your internet connection. This may work.
Old Version of Windows.
An outdated version of Windows may be creating this problem. Go to, System and Security and click on, Check for updates. Try to update your computer on the latest updates available. After updating, restart your computer and again, launch the game.
You may have an Ad-Blocker enabled on your browser. Turn that off or disable that, as it may be blocking an essential domain from Roblox’s server. Re-launch the browser and Roblox will work.
If Nothing Is Working:
If you have tried all the fixes given and nothing seems to be a successful one, then try to install the Roblox again. First, uninstall the Roblox and then, download the installer again. Install it again and have the minimum requirements, too, in your mind. Before going for this fix, make sure that you have also tried to restart your computer. It sometimes may rectify the error.
